To
learn how to Log-in to your RSVPro Personal Domain,
watch this training video
and/or consult the instructions below:
1) Type the correct
Web address (URL) in the address line at the top of
your web browser. It should look something like this:
http://www.<RSVProWebServerLocation>/<DomainName>
If you are registered
to use RSVPro and/or the Intellivision®
online service, your personal domain is located at:
http://www.in-x.net/<DomainName>
For example, http://www.in-x.net/you
After you type
the proper address, be sure and hit the <Enter> key! Also, be sure to replace
<DomainName> with the correct domain
name (with
capital and lower case letters all correct) for the Personal Domain or other RSVP Domain
you are trying to access. Usually you will use the Personal
Domain Name you requested and received when you registered.
If you belong
to one of the other organizations that has licensed
and independently located an "RSVProWebServer",
ask your system administrator for the correct Web address.
2) Enter your
User Name & Password (Again, these are case sensitive)
3) Click on the Log-in button.
Enjoy!
The above log-in
instructions are slightly different for wireless and other handheld devices. (Please contact support
as suggested below for assistance)
If you still
have problems accessing your domains, you may need to adjust
your firewall a bit.
If you think this is the case and need help, please contact your
system administrator. Otherwise, call Compuvantage at the below
numbers and they will assist you personally. Please leave a message
if your call is not answered directly and they will get right
back to you.
Here are a few
other suggestions for easy access to your RSVP Domains:
1) Make your
RSVP domain a "Favorite" or "Bookmark"
in your Internet browser.
2) Create a web
page with a "hyperlink" to your RSVP Domain(s)
typed as as described above.
3) Type the Internet
address, as described above, in the "Home Page"
setting under "Tools", then "Internet
Options..." in your web browser. (Then your Personal
Domain will come up when you first open your
web browser)
4) For "semi-private"
RSVP Group Domains you create and own, create a "Partner"
with other RSVP Domains. Then, when you wish for these
partners to log in to your RSVP Domain, just send an
email with an Internet address link to the Domain typed
as suggested above.
To be safe,
we suggest that you do not share user names and passwords by
email, since you can never be sure about the security of your
email.
NEVER give the Main (Home)
User Password for your Personal Domain to anyone other than a
legal guardian!
As always, you
can prevent others from accessing your Personal Domain
by changing the password for yourself or any other partner.
Be sure and change passwords, including your own, periodically
under "Setup" "Partners" "Edit
Partner" as a precaution.
5) Also, ask
us about how to setup public domains for your public organizations or associations.
They do not
require logging in.
(Public RSVP domains are a great way to setup public information listings and contact directories.
They can be set up to
be automatically updated
with designated data from domains of listed parties.)
If you do not
already have your own Personal RSVP Domain and wish
to get started and be up and running within five minutes,
